I, the Undersigned owner, or agent of the pet owner, registered at Pittsburgh Paws Pet Resort, LLC (“PPPR”) fully agree and understand that PPPR and its caretakers will implement basic care to provide boarding services and daycare to the registered pet. I further acknowledge that in an environment with other animals, the instinctive nature of any animal may result in injuries/illnesses/infections/damages or possibly death. In the event that the pet becomes ill or sustains injury during its stay at PPPR, I give permission to PPPR to take whatever steps are necessary to obtain medical attention for the pet and I will be fully responsible for any and all related expenses incurred. I understand that the pet will interact with pet handlers and other animals on the PPPR premises in an open environment and exercise area and that injuries or illnesses or infections or death may occur. I completely assume all and any risks as well as all costs or expenses for any injuries or illnesses or infections or death that may occur to my pet at PPPR. By submitting the care of the pet to PPPR, I agree to indemnify, waive and hold PPPR and its caretakers completely harmless for any injury, illness, infections, loss or death of the pet.
In the event that my pet cause injuries to other pets or PPPR caretakers on the premises, including, but not limited to the PPPR facility or property, the undersigned agrees to be fully responsible for any related costs or damages as a result of the actions of the registered pet and indemnify and hold PPPR or its caretakers harmless for any related legal expenses, litigation costs including, but not limited to, reasonable attorney’s fees, settlements or verdicts rendered by a court for the actions of the pet. I further agree that I maintain appropriate liability insurance for the actions of the registered pet or I will be personally liable and responsible and I assume the risks of the actions of the pet. It is my sole responsibility, at my own risk, to access and exit the parking area of PPPR.
I recognize that due to the nature of animals in a social environment with other animals if the registered pet is unable to be in the PPPR environment, PPPR may contact me to remove the pet immediately and PPPR has the right to quarantine the pet. I further verify that the pet has had all required vaccinations or other requirements of PPPR. It is further understood that due to the behavior of the pet at PPPR, that PPPR has the exclusive right to reject any kennel care or services for the pet in the future.
The Undersigned, by clicking the check box below, agrees to fully release, indemnify, remise, acquit, and forever discharge PPPR, their successors and assigns, past and future, AND fully release, indemnify, remise, acquit and forever discharge PPPR from any and all actions, causes of action, claims and demands of whatsoever kind or nature for damages, costs, loss of use, loss of services, expenses, compensation, consequential damages or any other thing whatsoever on account of, or in any way growing out of, any and all known property damage, at law or in equity, now known or unknown. This Release will act as an affirmative defense in any related cases against PPPR and bar the Undersigned from taking further legal action. Pennsylvania law shall govern this document. This document shall remain in effect for all services, present and future, rendered by PPPR.
